SOUTH NAXOS PRIVATE FD TOUR

Our first stop is Belonia tower , one of the best preserved on Naxos, situated on a rise inland overlooking the sea on the way from Naxos Town to Glinado village travelling in the direction of Kastraki, a short distance from Galanado in the Livadi valley. It is an imposing structure, which belonged to Ieronymos Somarippa, built c. 1600. Belonias Tower is situated beside the chapel of Agios Ioannis (St. John), which was built in the 13th century. The chapel has two aisles and two churches are housed under its barreled roof. The one aisle is the Orthodox Church while the other is the Catholic church.
Next stop is the biggest village of Naxos ,Filoti,where there will be a tour in the village visiting Panagia Filotitisa, Barozzi Tower and the fully restored traditional neighbourhood of Fasolas .A walk in the village’s alleys is a must!
Our next stop is a photostop at Rotonda , where you can enjoy the splendid view of Tragea valley and Naxos town beyond , and a second one ,on our way to South East Naxos from where we ll have breathtaking view of Small Cyclades islands such as Donousa and Koufonisi.
At approx. 12.15 we ll be at Panormos bay for a 3h stay , a magnificent bay with palm trees , where you have the option either of relaxing by the sea, doing SUP ,having lunch at the local canteen or have a 2h boat tour to Rina s cave ,a sea cave approachable only by boat with captain Yannis. .By 15.20 we ll leave Panormos and have a lunch/snack/coffee break at the famous Moutsouna port ,known as the emery port for an hour . Afterwards we head back to Naxos town and hotels.
